Get paid for your opinions (Updated)

Every year, company's spend billions of dollars carrying out market research and finding out customer opinions on their products or services. Thanks to the Internet everyone can now take a share of those billions by filling in surveys, sampling and commenting on products, logos or designs and even get rewarded for shopping, eating out and taking holidays. I am now going to Introduce you to paid surveys. You can register to participate in surveys for which the company that provided the surveys to you will pay you for voicing your opinion. These surveys can pay anything from a few Penny's to quite large sums around £25-£30 or even more. Some survey company's will pay you in points which you can redeem for products or services, much like Ipoints (see last post), or may reward you by entering you into a free prize draw or lottery. Here are a few survey company's for you to get started with. There are so many survey company's around these days that i am going to split up this post and post regular updates with more survey company's as well as introduce you to mystery shopping. Just sign up to the following sites, set up your profile and wait for the surveys to land in your inbox....

Earn points to buy rewards

The Internet is full of opportunities to make money or get something for nothing. One such opportunity is ipoints.co.uk. Ipoints allows you to earn points in many different ways, which you can then redeem for products or services. For example, they have polls which will earn you 5 ipoints each or if you are an avid online shopper you can click through their site to one of their partners and purchase your item from there. This means you can work ipoints into your existing online shopping habits and receive points with which you can purchase something else with later. Ipoints also has a range of free trial offers from well known company's which will earn you large amounts of points simply by registering for the trial. The trial can always be canceled before you are charged any money, and you keep your ipoints. Blockbuster's movie rentals is just one of the company's running a free trial. If you sign up to the free trial via ipoints, your account will be credited with 1000 points. You will also earn 250 ipoints simply from signing up.

Grab yourself a free Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and more....

If you are coming up to the end of your mobile phone contract and considering upgrading to a newer model i would recommend taking a look at mobiles.co.uk. They have some very nice offers in which you will receive a free mobile and also a free gift of your choice. They have quite a few free gifts to choose from, one of which is an Xbox 360 console. I purchased a new contract from them, on the three network back in November. I received a Motorola v3x for free the very next day, and i chose the Xbox 360 as my free gift so i can confirm that it is a legitimate offer. The only downfall is that you have to send proof of payment of your first bill which you receive receipt of with your second months bill. You get your first bill around 12 days after you receive your phone, and your second bill a month later, so there is some waiting before you can claim you free gift. After receiving my second bill, i mailed it to mobiles.co.uk and they promptly dispatched my xbox 360, which was delivered the next working day. The contract i chose was an 18 month contract, with the first six months being half price line rental costing £17.50 after which it goes up to £35. Now if you work that out, over 18 months i will have payed £525. In my opinion this is a great deal, considering at the time, the v3x retailed at around £200 to £250 and the Xbox retailed at £200 totalling £450. Add to that the fact that i also receive 500 free minutes, 250 free sms, 30mb of data to get online on the go, £5 of video content and other extras every month, it's safe to say you are getting your moneys worth at £525 over 18 months and its much better than splashing out on a new phone and/or console at once. Oh, and all shipping is free! You can also choose from a Wii, ipod nano, ipod shuffle, Nintendo DS, photo printer, Tom Tom navigator, a Canon camcorder and Unlimited DVD rentals. Take a look!
